Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms before using our website or buying a vehicle from us.
Last updated: October 2026
1. About us
This website is operated by Specialist Performance Cars Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14831130, VAT number 474 9304 66). Our address is First Floor, 74-78 Marsh Road, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU3 2NJ. You can contact us on 01582 363276 or at sales@specialistperformancecars.co.uk.
2. Using this website
By using this website you agree to these terms. We may update them from time to time, and the version shown here applies when you use the site. You must not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or copy its content, photographs or vehicle listings for commercial use without our permission.
3. Vehicle information and prices
We take care to describe every vehicle accurately. However, specifications, equipment, mileage and photographs are provided for guidance and may contain errors or change without notice. Please check any details that are important to you with our team before you buy. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and may change at any time. A vehicle shown on the website may already be sold or reserved — please call to confirm availability before travelling.
4. Reserving a vehicle and deposits
- A deposit secures the vehicle and takes it off sale for you.
- Deposits are non-refundable, except where you are entitled to a refund under your statutory rights as a consumer.
- The vehicle must be collected, and the balance paid, within 10 days of the deposit unless we agree otherwise in writing. If it is not, you may lose your deposit and the vehicle may be offered for sale again.
5. Payment
All payments must be made in cleared funds before the vehicle is released, either by bank transfer to Specialists Performance Cars Ltd or by another method we agree. We will never ask you to pay into a different account by email or text message — if in doubt, call us on 01582 363276 before making a payment.
6. Vehicle history and documents
Our vehicles are HPI checked and we will declare anything we know that is relevant to the vehicle’s history. On collection you will receive the “New Keeper Supplement” from the V5C registration document, and we will notify the DVLA of the change of keeper. Manuals, keys and codes supplied with the vehicle are handed over at collection.
7. Part exchange
Part-exchange valuations are given on the basis of the information you provide and are confirmed only once we have inspected the vehicle. You must tell us about any outstanding finance, accident damage or faults. If the vehicle is not as described, we may revise or withdraw the valuation.
8. Finance
Finance is subject to status and the lender’s approval, and is available to UK residents aged 18 or over. Submitting an application on this website is a request for us to contact you about finance — it is not an offer or agreement of credit. Any monthly figures shown by our calculator are illustrations only, not quotes.
9. Warranties and your statutory rights
Where you buy as a consumer, the vehicle must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. Any optional warranty we offer is in addition to these rights and is subject to its own terms, which we will give you before you buy. If you buy at a distance (without visiting us), you may also have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
10. Your information
When you send an enquiry or a finance application, we use your details only to respond to you, handle your enquiry or application, and keep the records the law requires. We do not sell your information. You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing sales@specialistperformancecars.co.uk. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
11. Liability
We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for any interruption to the website. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
13. Contact us
